Artificial intelligence has been booming since ChatGPT-4 went online...

New artificial intelligence platforms have been flourishing for a few months now, and the world of digital marketing has already been hit hard by the "AI" wave, and everything suggests that this is only the beginning:

It is a Copernican revolution that is likely to take place in the coming months: To simplify, previously, machines provided us with data, and access to this data. Humans (your freelancer, or your agency) were responsible for analyzing this data, and optimizing your campaigns accordingly.

AI, applied to digital marketing, allows data analysis, to identify the most relevant insights and to even to make precise predictions. And all this much faster than a human being can do.

...Not even mentioning the visual/creative part of advertising, as Google's DeepMind projects such as "Veo 2", "Imagen 3", or the (now constant) flow of AI generated pictures flooding the internet perfectly illustrate that.

So far, creating, managing and optimizing PPC Campaigns still requires a significant amount of human work. Nevertheless, the inevitable rise of AI will most likely change this state of affairs.

 

The incoming challenge for companies will therefore be to successfully negotiate the current shift: to familiarize themselves with these new tools, to understand their applications and the benefits they can derive from them in the short, medium and long terms.
